On March 15, US local time, the press conference of the 16th China Beijing International Construction Machinery, Building Materials Machines and Mining Machines Exhibition & Seminar (BICES 2023) was held at CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas of the United States. Mr.Wu Peiguo, Secretary General of China Construction Machinery Association (CCMA) and Chairman of Beijing Asiamachine International Convention & Exhibition Ltd. (BAICE),Mr.Li Jin, General Manager of China Construction Machinery Co., Ltd(CNCMC), Mr.Zhou Weidong, Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade – Machinery Sub-Council(CCPIT-MSC), and representatives of international organizations and media partners as the like of Spanish Association of Equipment Manufacturers of the Construction and Mining Industries(ANMOPYC), Turkey Construction Equipment Distributors & Manufacturers Association(IMDER), Japan Construction Mechanization Association(JCMA), Trade Link Media, PLANT&EQUIPMENT, EPC&I and other friends from international cooperators and enterprises attended the conference.
Mr.Wu firstly extended a warm welcome to the guests on behalf of the CCMA and BICES Organizing Committee, and appreciated international parters and supporters for their warm attention and strong support to the China’s construction machinery industry and BICES show over the past three years.Then, Mr.Wu introduced the development of the China’s construction machinery industry in recent years, as well as the latest progress and highlights of BICES 2023. He stressed that the conference will be start of launch campaign of the global promotion of BICES 2023.
Mr.Wu pointed out that China's construction machinery industry as a whole has achieved a stable and healthy development in recent years. In 2021, the operating revenue of the entire industry reached 906.5 billion RMB. The overall performance remained high in 2022 although with some adjustment. Chinese construction machinery products have been widely recognized by countries and regions around the world. In 2021, the export volume exceeded 30 billion dollars, and in 2022, it exceeded 40 billion dollars, reaching 44.302 billion dollars, With a year-on-year growth of 30.2%, the industry has not only continuously created new historical highs, but also made new progress in high-end, intelligent, and green transformation.
As for BICES exhibition, Mr.Wu stated that BICES is a industrial exhibition in China with the longest history and high quanlity performance . After 34 years and 15 sessions of development, BICES has formed five distinctive advantages, on fields of industry, geographical position, exhibition venue, brand and organizer. By taking use of those advantages, BICES 2023 will provide exhibitors and visitors from both home and abroad with satisfied service and experiences.
By the end of February of 2023, the numbers of registered exhibitors for BICES 2023 had reached a record high during the same period. All leading Chinese brands and foreign invested enterprises in China will participate in BICES 2023 with large spaces, such as LIUGONG, SANY, SDLG, XCMG, HANGCHA, ZOOMLION, CRCHI, SHANTUI, HELI, CREC, Jonyang, SUNWARD, Dingli, Liaoning Censcience Industry, Hengli Hydraulic, EDDIE Precision, LKC HYDRAULIC, SHENGHANG, JIACHEN, Stronger Hydraulic etc., and the well-known foreign brands such as CATERPILLAR, KOBELCO, HITACHI, CUMMINS, ISUZU, KAWASAKI, DEUTZ, JLG, KOHLER and son on.
